WinGate Octothorper 1.0 scans for Microsoft Windows machines running WinGate. WinGate Octothorper 1.0 requires that you issue a range of IPs to scan, i.e., x.x.x.x to z.z.z.z . If it encounters a WinGate equipped computer, it will write to a file called "WinGate Octothorper Strikes" in the same folder as the program, say "WinGate Detected", place a "[*]" in the title bar and list the IP of the computer within its interface. |

Decrypt-a-thon II

Well System Cowboy has thrown together a application to decrypt the passwords for Internet Config. Decrypt-a-thon II Side note, someone at TidBits sent me a email wanting me to tell the whole story on this bug. He wants me to say I've known about it a long time. Well 'g' yes I have.
Internet Config Password Weekness Advisory has been added to SecureMac.com. This algorithm was discovered by the same man who found the MacOS encryption algorithm, Dawid adix Adamski.

The Takedown Suite 2.5

We announced the release of a application called The Takedown Suite 2.5. We recieved a report about a hack to it. It is said to email own3d@axoskate.com with the IP of the computer and the port it is on. We have not confirmed the situation yet. Beware it is a backdoor itself.
The TakeDown Server Suite 2.5 is a remote administration utility for the MacOS. You can remotely administrate the file system. Can install on multiple machines and have it report to a tracker (ie: computer isnt on a static ip) this can also be used as a backdoor program. A takeoff of WeeDos Remote Admin Extension. |

Program created by LIE, Defect, and LOKI. Smack is a simple realbasic-coded application which takes advantage of a bug in Hotline Communications' (www.hotlinesw.com) server which allows many logins to be sent within the same stream, resulting in flooded logs at the server end and possible lockup on slower computers or server lag on slower connections. Using Smack is quite simple. Input the server IP address that you are attacking, the server port, and set cycles to 100 (WARNING: setting the number of cycles over 100 usually gets you a server autoban). Now, press the "Smack" button, wait about 5-10 seconds, and click "Cancel". Repeating this multiple times creates a stronger flood.

Simply type in the text, tell it what folder or disk to search, and it will find all files containing that text. You can even specify where it has to look in the file: the data fork, the resource fork or both. the Meltino is a "Simple UNIX password crack software" that supported of md5-encryption(message digest 5) and DES-encryption(Data Encryption Standard). it allows you to find out personally the stupid user password at your server. Meltino1.3(since Meltino old version) supported UFC(UltraFastCrypt algorithm).
On most machines, UFC-crypt runs 30-60 times faster than crypt(3) when invoked repeated times with the same salt and varying passwords.
• High performance when used for password cracking.
• Portable to most 32/64 bit machines.

It doesn't do this as securely as it might (multiple writes with a pattern of data designed to well and truly clobber any remaining bits of magnetic field on the hard drive). The data that was written to your hard drive still could be recovered by someone who's willing to do some serious drive analysis. However, the data is erased from the file.
